Have a question? We may have the answer...
We know it's never easy to walk through the front door of a veterinary hospital with your beloved family pet in tow. You're worried about their care and concerned for their recovery. We want you - and your companions - to feel at ease at Rolesville Veterinary Hospital. That's why we've tried to answer as many questions as possible before you come to the clinic. If you have your own suggestions for questions, please feel free to submit them to our staff.
What forms will I need to bring?
What happens if my animal needs veterinary attention after hours?
What can I do to make my pet more comfortable at the clinic?
What types of payment do you accept?
Do I need an apppointment?
If your animal needs immediate attention during the day, you can visit the clinic without an appointment. We can often accommodate routine exams and wellness checks on a "walk-in" basis throughout the week. However, it's always best to book an appointment in advance if you have the time. We do require advance appointments for pet ultrasounds.
What do I need to bring?
You can fill out all of your paperwork in the waiting room. If you'd like to get a headstart, visit our Patient Forms section to print forms for Pet Registration, Client Registration, Medical Information, and Anesthesia Authorization. You should be prepared to tell the doctor about any medications that your pet is currently taking. If you're unsure of the name, bring the bottle with you. You should also try to piece together a narrative of your pet's symptoms. When did they begin acting strangely? When did symptoms begin? What changes have gone on in their life recently?
What happens if my animal needs veterinary attention after hours?
If you need medical attention between the hours of 6 p.m. and 8 a.m. on weekdays, after 12 p.m. on Saturday, or on Sunday, we recommend contacting EC Vets in Wilson, North Carolina. They are well-equipped and ready to help dogs and cats with everything from minor injuries to more severe trauma injuries and acute sickness. When your pet is discharged, you can still bring them to Rolesville Veterinary Hospital for any necessary follow-ups.
What can I do to make my pet more comfortable at the clinic?
Feel free to bring special treats or small toys to make your pet more comfortable. You can also bring your animal to visit with the Rolesville Veterinary staff outside of your normal visits so they can begin to trust and bond with our doctors.
What types of payment do you accept?
We currently accept MasterCard, Visa, Cash, Personal Check, and Care Credit. Care Credit offers flexible payment plans for medical bills.
